K53 Simulator Hub

Today we had our very first physical hub customer (in Seshego, Polokwane) and the below are applicable reactions and remarks he had.

  1. “This is nice”
  2. “Even R30 per 30 minutes would still be cheap…” (that is over R10000 in turnover per month at ~8 hours a day)
  3. “…and schools” (he added as I related to him our intentions to roll out to driving schools and other such like centers)

He took up 3 hours/sessions and intends to get several more. He expressed interest in heavy traffic and dengerous scenarious which we aim to feature not very long. He attempted a license journey a while back and reports to have been taken to a setting with heavy traffic – which he found so intimidating that he ended up getting consumed in avoiding a bump than navigating the road the K53 way. After which encounter he gave up. He is glad that a bump on the K53 Simulator remains virtual.

While courage level must vary from person to person, this particular young must represent a substanctial amount of aspiring drivers (out there) who would gladly embrace a chance to start off with virtual environment (traffic, pedestrians, etc) while learning the basics. And we have both the software and the hardware setup to help schools get so setup.
