Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Get answers to common questions about the K53 3D Driving Simulator for PC and mobile.

What 3D driving practices can I expect in the simulator?

Our K53 Simulator offers both a K53-guided yard test environment and practical road driving tests. The virtual roads feature realistic intersection layouts including stop signs, yield signs, mini-circles, uncontrolled intersections, roundabouts, and traffic lights.

What codes of driver’s licences does the app support?

Ultimately, we aim to support all licence classes. Currently, all three main categories—Code 8 (light motor vehicles), Code 10 (heavy motor vehicles), and Code 14 (extra heavy motor vehicles)—are functional. Our Code 1 (motorcycles) module is currently a work in progress and will be released in a future update.

The app supports both phone and PC—which one should I use?

While we support both platforms, we highly recommend using the PC version if you can. The PC version offers much better control layout precision and a larger screen for better visibility. Using a game controller or joystick makes the PC experience even more immersive. However, our mobile version still offers incredible value for building K53 driving muscle memory if a smartphone is your only option.

What equipment do I need to get started?

You can get started using just a smartphone or a computer equipped with a standard keyboard and mouse. For an enhanced experience, the simulator supports optional peripherals such as gamepads, joysticks, or a steering wheel, pedals, and shifter kit.

Does the simulator support steering wheels like Logitech G29/G920 or Thrustmaster?

Yes. Because the simulator is built on a modern game engine using advanced vehicle physics, it supports standard USB driving controllers, steering wheels, pedal sets, and manual shifters on the PC version to give you the most realistic practical test practice possible.

What are the minimum system requirements for PC and mobile?

Since the app uses a fully 3D environment, you will need a modern Android/iOS device or a PC with dedicated or capable integrated graphics to ensure a smooth, lag-free frame rate while practicing your yard tests.

Is the app completely free, or are there in-app purchases?

The app comes with a 1-hour free demo window. Once the demo period expires, you will need to purchase an activation code (available for either personal or business/driving school use) to unlock unlimited access.

Does the simulator require an active internet connection?

The free Demo version requires an active internet connection to validate your trial period. However, once you enter a fully activated registration code, the simulator works completely offline.

What vehicle do you recommend I start practicing with?

We highly recommend starting with the Code 10 truck, even if your ultimate goal is to pass a Code 8 hatchback test. Because our Code 10 truck is heavier and accelerates much slower, it gives beginner drivers much-needed extra reaction time to learn layout patterns, checking mirrors, and executing steering controls smoothly.

How does a 3D app help me pass a real-world physical driving test?

Passing the K53 practical test is mostly about sequencing and muscle memory—such as the exact order of the 5-point check, blind spots, handbrake timing, and clutch control rules. Practicing these sequences repeatedly in a virtual environment burns the movements into your memory, drastically reducing your stress levels and mistakes during the real physical test.
