The below are some of the K53 defensive driving skillsets you can practice on the K53 Simulator:

  1. Button start (with brake and clutch pedals held down for manual and brake only for automatic transmission)
  2. Key start (with Lock, Acc, On and Start states)
  3. Gear shifting (eg. 1-5 for code 8 or 1 to 12 for code 14 truck)
  4. Clutch control (finding the bitting point, avoid ridding or coasting)
  5. Mirrors usage (sides and interior mirrors)
  6. 3 point observation (simulated and literal checking of mirrors and camera turn for blindspot)
  7. 5 point observation before moving off (similar to above)
  8. Moving off (seat adjust, belt buckling, mirrors adjust, start with On first, observe and signal if needed, shifting to 1 then clutch control and observe, parking brake release and smootly moving off).
  9. Signal (to turn at intersections or to change lanes – with mirrors and blindspot checking enforcement)
  10. Overtaking (with signal monitoring for both pre and post overtake or returning to lane)
  11. Steering (avoiding dry and straightening before coming to a complete stop)
  12. Speedometer reading (analog and digital options)
  13. Techometer reading (analog)
  14. Code 8, 10 and 14
  15. Road and Yard drive tests (pre-trip still work in progress)
  16. Yielding (when turning right or at yield signs)
  17. Traffic lights intersection (single and dual carriage)
  18. Multiple lanes (with arrows on the road)
  19. Lane changing (with signal and observation monitoring)
  20. Mini circle intersection (clockwise and yielding to traffic crossing the yield line first)
